⭐ Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Horacio has been working in the gaming translation field for over 10 years. With over 1000 students from both in-person and online courses, he has taught at various institutions, including the Escola Brasileira de Games, Escola de Tradutores, PROFT, Cursos ¡Quijote!, Translators101, and co-created the Supercurso de Tradução de Jogos in partnership with Rook Traduções.
🎮 He was the founder of Tlön Studios game studio, releasing the game Soul Gambler on Steam, which sold over 20k copies in just one month. Horacio's translation experience spans literary and technical works, with recent projects including Odallus: The Dark Call, Sword Legacy: Omen, and Josh Journey: Darkness Totems.
📚 Beyond the gaming industry, Horacio has over 17 years of experience in the publishing industry. Passionate about technology and digital media, he has played various roles in Creative Economy companies, becoming a key figure in the Brazilian market for digital books at Bookwire Brasil. He has also worked as a consultant at UmLivro (Meta Brasil), a pioneer in print-on-demand models. In 2018, he founded Tacet Books, an innovative publishing project focused on public domain, boasting over 1,000 digital books and 100 printed books. Through Negócios Literários, Horacio offers consulting services andcourses in marketing, game translation.
🙋🏻In itch.io, he participated in a few translators teams, such as Eita-loc, at LocJAM 5, localizing Intergalactic Wizard Force to brazilian portuguese, and Alquimistas da Localização, at LocJAM - Made in Italy, localizing Aventura no Castelo to brazilian portuguese and and Portal do Triunfo: sucesso em curso in partnership with brazilian tech college FATEC Capapicuiba.
